The Hamburg based consultancy firm Suntrace has received six contract awards from World Bank Group during the last six Months for the realisation of international feasibility studies, site assessments and resource measurement campaigns. The awards solar and wind projects in Ethiopia, Bangladesh, Libya and Vietnam. The projects will run for a period of between one to two and a half years. Suntrace specialises in large-scale solar projects, and its services ensure secure investment, successful project development and optimised yields as a result of optimised plant design. In July 2017, inverter manufacturer SolarMax starts shipping its modular complete storage system MaxStorage TP-S, developed primarily for private applications. Since the product was first presented at Intersolar Europe 2016, the company has incorporated several improvements suggested by its customers before this market launch. [PDF of the Press Release]
With 1,200 exhibitors and 40,000 visitors, the Intersolar and energy storage trade-fair ees Europe are absolute industry highlights. From 31 May to 2 June, manufacturers, dealers and installers from home and abroad will be meeting at the Munich exhibition site to show their products and find out about the latest trends in the solar and energy storage sectors. The show is also a must for the international trade press.
At this year’s ISH, the leading trade fair for innovative design, energy-efficient heating and air-conditioning and renewable energy, we organised a press event for German trade journalists on behalf of our client my-PV. The event on 15 March in Frankfurt was a success, attended by 13 journalists from prestigious construction and energy media. These included the magazines de – das Elektrohandwerk, IKZ Energy, TGA Fachplaner, SHK Profi and Sonne Wind & Wärme. We were also able to place a further 30 press packs containing extensive background material with other interested trade media.
With immediate effect the SolarMax Group is offering its 6 to 32 kilowatt three-phase string inverters with free additional features. With every order for MT and HT series inverters the group is gifting its customers one MaxWeb XPN data logger per photovoltaic system. From 14 to 16 March the PR agency Krampitz Communications will be exhibiting with their own stand for the first time at Energy Storage Europe, the international meeting place of the energy storage sector in Düsseldorf. With examples drawn from agency experience, managing director Iris Krampitz will explain how storage firms can reach their target groups, raise their profile and make headlines, even on a limited budget.
The world’s biggest exhibition of innovative bathroom design, energy-efficient heating and air-conditioning technology, and renewable energy usage is being held in Frankfurt from 14 to 18 March. One of the top themes at the fair will be the convergence of heating and renewable power.

Right at the end of the year the SolarMax Group realised a 10-MW reference project, marking a successful conclusion to the 2016 business year. The project developer – actensys GmbH – deployed 24 SolarMax TS-SV 360 central inverters at the Körbelitz II PV farm in the Jerichower Land, Saxony-Anhalt. The solar farm has been ready for operation since 31 December 2016, and will be commissioned on schedule when the grid connection is completed in May of this year. [PDF of the Press Release]
