ARMOR solar power films GmbH from Kitzingen (Germany), known under the brand name ASCA®, has developed a new technology that allows organic photovoltaic (OPV) cells to be integrated quickly, easily and flexibly into any glass format and facade. Flat glass processor BGT Bischoff Glastechnik GmbH is now offering the transparent, energy-generating glass modules to the global construction industry. In addition to manufacturing the OPV components, ARMOR ASCA also plans the system integration, from cable routing and connection technology to the inverter. The solar power is fed into the public grid or consumed directly.
Mathias Muther hands over the operational management of the globally operating expert for PV mounting solutions AEROCOMPACT in the respective country organizations to Manfred Ganahl for the European market and Dirk Morbitzer for the US market. Muther, the company founder and sole owner, will focus on strategically developing and internationalizing the company from August and remain Global CEO in the parent company AEROCOMPACT Holding. While Manfred Ganahl will manage AEROCOMPACT GmbH in Satteins, Austria, Dirk Morbitzer will be responsible for the business of the US subsidiary AEROCOMPACT Inc. in Matthews, North Carolina.
For Europe’s largest producer of renewable energy, we organized, managed and moderated a meeting to inform citizens of its latest project in April. Statkraft is planning to build a wind farm in the community of Wesertal in 2025 and attaches great importance to transparent, early communication.
Due to Corona, this first event took place digitally. We are currently planning the second such meeting for September as live and in-person. We are looking forward to the cooperation!
PV racking system manufacturer AEROCOMPACT, based in Satteins, Austria, has added three sliding seam clamps to its COMPACTMETAL TM product range. The new CE-certified clamps enable roofers and installers to mount framed solar modules of any length and width without needing to penetrate the roof on almost all types of seam sheet roofs. The compact, pre-assembled new developments are available worldwide as of today.
The construction machinery group United Motors & Heavy Equipment Co LLC (UMHE) from United Arab Emirates – U.A.E. is now exclusively selling SunBrush® mobil cleaning machines in the Middle East. As a full service partner, UMHE is also responsible for installing and commissioning as well as servicing and maintaining all cleaning machines of the German PV expert in the United Arab Emirates. The first three SunBrush® mobil TrackFlex cleaning machines will be commissioned by UMHE at the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum solar park in Dubai at the end of August. Thanks to its total capacity of 5 gigawatts – which it will reach by 2030 – the power plant will be the largest solar energy project in the world.
Solar company my-PV has developed a solar-power system using thermal concrete-core activation in commercial buildings: An electric underfloor heating system releases excess solar energy as heat to the building foundation. Thanks to this storage concept, my-PV utilizes saving operating costs.

Thanks to its well thought-out installation options, RAM-X is very adaptable to different landscapes, as confirmed in initial installation projects.
The Austrian manufacturer of PV mounting systems AEROCOMPACT strengthens its team with the internationally known wind engineer Thorsten Kray. With immediate effect, the doctor of mechanical engineering is responsible for the company’s research and certification activities and accompanies all internal and external tests on the company’s system solutions for photovoltaic modules. As an active member of numerous standardization committees, he also promotes the global certification processes for flat roof and ground mount systems as well as the standardization of wind tunnel tests for PV mounting systems.
SunBrush® mobil, the world market leader for solar cleaning equip-ment, and Infinity, the Egyptian solar project developer, have opened a service base at Africa’s largest solar power plant. From now on, four Infinity employees will maintain and repair the 24 SunBrush® mobil Compact cleaning devices currently in use at the 1.65 GWp Benban Solar Park near Aswan.
